I read on-line that Mary Hermes signed an affidavit in the Pension application of Jeremiah Dalton 47th Missouri Infantry company I. I don't want his whole pension application but was wondering how I could go about getting a copy of just the affidavit by Mary Hermes. I believe this Mary Hermes to be the one that is an ancestor of mine and according to other researchers on-line was a sister in law to Jeremiah Dalton. I want to see if there is anything definitive in the affidavit.
