I have a newspaper clipping written by Wilson Powell but I didn't get the date on it. It is titled "Maj. Enoch Wolf's career began here" if you would like I can scan it and send it to you by e-mail.

Also, from Caruth Shaver Moore's book, "Early History of Evening Shade and Sharp County" pages 49 & 50 is "The Story of Private Acie Ladd."

Like I stated before, my in-laws knew him personnally and I heard many stories concerning him.
