I'm basically in the same boat, but he, my GGF, Andrew Allen Biggs served in the 8th Missouri Voluntary Cavalry for the Union. I personally Honor the Fallen from both sides. Shall we living never forget. I had thought my GGF served in the Confederacy all my life. Until I found Documentation. Now, my Story goes deeper into the Family line. Genealogy has brought out another 'Skeleton in the Closet.'
