I had could not find Lorenzo either in the sites that you mentioned. He was born and lived his whole live in the southern hills of Chariton County, Missouri. I am thinking he was probably a bushwacker but we have the photo of him in his confederate uniform. He never made it home from the war although word was supposedly received when he was killed - but no one knows for sure what year - whether it was still during the war or shortly after. His family was originally from North Carolina with only a brief stay in Madison County, Kentucky before moving to Missouri. They arrived in Missouri in 1820. If anyone has any information on Lorenzo it would be greatly appreciated.
