Is there any information out there on this fellow? Believe he was part of the John Highley Gang in Southeast Missouri and may have been a relative of John's sister Elizabeth, who married a Swinny (Sweeney, Sweney) or from a different clan of the same name, from which others were in the Missouri State Guard and 2nd/3rd Missouri Cavalry. I cannot locate Matt on any Roster, Census, Prison Roll, etc.
