The Missouri in the Civil War Message Board

Re: william penn, nelson mcdougal, davis hunter.

Linda
William PENN was first judge of the newly formed Dade County and his cabin was the site of the first proceedings, as has all been noted.
He had twelve daughters and one childless son and almost 100 grandchildren, including a dozen or so who served with the Confederacy. They included four SPAIN boys, Richard having not survived the war, and five RENFRO boys, including Thomas who served as a secretary of sorts to SHELBY.

William PENN is my fourth great grandfather and you have now challenged me to identify all his Civil War grandsons.

Linda, is this cane for sale?
Could I get pictures of it?
