Yes, I have considered the Old Military Road to run from Bainbridge Landing. I'm not sure of the county road name. I believe the landing is on the National Register of Historic Places. Opposite it, in Illinois, is Hamburg Landing.

Now there are more than one "old military roads". But this is the variant the Cherokee aimed for initially on the Trail of Tears.

The main variant is the Old Military Road that ran from the old lead belt area down to Greenville where it joined with the other from Jackson.
