Thank you for your kind offer to look up something for me in Edison Shrum's History of Scott County. I am browsing books doing research on locations that I may want to investigate further. Back in the 80's, I was with Edison when he took us to NEW YORK... in Scott County. I do not remember where it is located. I would like to find who owns the property, and to seek permission to visit it.

Edison Shrum was a walking storehouse of information. When someone like him slips from our dimension, it really is a great loss. That is why I hope to find some of his books, a task, to be sure.
