I was asked this question: "Any idea what Quantrill or his men liked in the way of food?"
Does anyone have any idea? I have read about them staying in camps or eating at different people's houses but not what they ate? I read once where a couple of his men went jug fishing, so fish would be one thing. What were the foods of the day back then, hard tack maybe?
