G.W. Schackelford of Syracuse along with Pete Hays, a Mr. Palmer, and a Mr. Groves were among some of the 20 men who were reported to have been shot down that day.....this comes from the 1959 Centennial Publication of Syracuse Missouri.....of which is my copy.
