Quantrill Special Collections Research in Arkansas

Some of you know and some of you dont know about the "Quantrill Special Collections Research" project I have going on in Gentry, Benton County, Arkansas. This is the very first special collections of it's kind in a public library. It focuses strictly on William Quantrill, his guerrillas and the Kansas-Missouri border wars as a whole. The contents of the collection is aimed directly at educators and students, but naturally includes the entire public. It is a donation / contribution collection and there is no government funding of any kind. No grants or funds whatsoever. We rely on the help and support of everyone who can pitch in. We are looking for any, all and everything that has to do with the subject...books, papers, documents, military records, movies, pictures, articles, stories, personal research, etc. We are not looking for your original work or research, just anything you could copy and donate. One book, in particular we need is the "William Clarke Quantrill Scrapbook: Volume One" by Donald Hale. If anyone has that and could donate it, we would greatly appreciate it! We open the collection to the public on May 19, 2012 with a presentation on May 21.
