Sheeler& Creekmore

I have no Idea if anyone here can help me with this family mystery, but I can hope....My Great Grandfathers name is [was] George Jacob Sheeler born 1860..He had an older brother named John Henry Sheeler born 1856.I have an old letter that states tha their parents were killed together at the start of the civil war...they were said to be slave owners.I have no idea what their parents names are or how they died and wonder if anyone might have info about them. Their father was said to speak only German. The boys were listed in the 1870 census ,G.J. 10 yrs old and living with Henry Newton Creekmore and John 14...and living with Jesse Creekmore a few houses apart.John stayed near the Creekmores ,married a woman named Mary Ollie Hess and is buried in the Creekmore Cemetery with Mary. G.J. married Martha Ann Price and they moved to Okla and eventually to Ca. Martha Ann Prices Mother was Mary Adeline Creason...I am new to this but I have found many of these surnames in my search.Anyway I would be very appreciative of any info that could be sent my way...Thanks, Barbara
