Thank you for all the ideas...We have scoured all of the census materials we can find and have found no record of John Henry or George Jacob Sheeler before 1870. Lots after ....I wonder if the name Spelling could be the key...Even found some of the family in census with spelling of Shesler I thank you for you time and interest..Will keep looking...Barbara
