William Cyrus James was "Baby" Anderson??

I was hoping I could get some help on this headscratcher.... I have come across a Missouri Confederate named William Cyrus James. He was born in 1849 / 50 at Waverly, Lafayette County, Missouri and died in 1866 at Fayetteville, Arkansas. The information claims that he was "Baby" Anderson and never left the side of partisan ranger, Bill Anderson during the war (because of age, I am guessing the later part of the war). The source of my info is a passage in Donald Hale's "Branded As Rebels III, Volume One." It's reference source was the "Blue and Gray Chronicle, Volume 6, Number 6, August 2003."
Also, I have found family genealogy on him on Ancestry.com that has a "private member story" headlined William Cyrus James, Partisan Ranger" but it's locked by the person who posted it and I cant read it.
Can I get some help and clarity on this if anyone knows? I am hoping to check some of it out myself, but dont know when I can get to a library to do it. Any help would be very appreciated!!

Thanks!
