Hi Terry,
There are 3 books other than Wisc History

"In the Devils Dominions" by Charles Porter (diary) published by The Bushwhacker Museum in Nevada Mo

"Found No Bushwhackers" (1864 diary of Sgt James P Mallery) " " " " "

"Massacre at Baxter Springs" By Tom Smith (Novel) based on his grt-grandfather who was killed there as a member of I Company 3rd Wisc Cav

I have them all-----my Grt-GF was Abraham C Snyder in this Regt 1861-1865 and is briefly mentioned in Mallerys diary I have gotten to know and become friends with Tom Smith (he and his wife visited us several yrs back) his research was extensive, and it gave me insight into my own GGF's experience. I have some artifacts of my GGF including his discharge, GAR ladder badge etc. I have compiled 2 large notebooks on the Regt.

Regards,
John Hughes
