I have read through the books mentioned and found my ancestors mentioned a couple of times.In the Old Settlers book George Alexander Weddle is mentioned a couple of times as to where he lived and that he was killed in 1862.In the jrbaker geanealogy I also found out that my ggg grandmother and her second husband were listed as sympathizers in St.Clair County.The reason gave for her being a sympathizer was her husband (Weddle) was killed at Lone Jack.I've read what I could about this but couldn't find him mentioned in the rosters anywhere.Could this be just the Captain who put this list together giving a reason for her being a sympathizer or did it come straight from her?
