I'm trying to find a copy of the Oath of Allegience that Green Berry Harris would have signed when he returned to Missouri. He was with the 8th Missouri Infantry (CSA) in Company D. I know they were paroled in Louisiana but I was unsure as to where the oath was actually taken. Other members of the 8th have had copies of oaths found in St. Louis but my searches have turned nothing up. If anyone is acquainted as to the Oaths location or even microfilm showing the Oaths, I would appreciate the help.
