I am doing research on the two men that title this post and am confused by their last names. Both men are buried in the Shore Cemetery in Lafayette Co., MO., and I thought there was a family relationship between the two. But the Shore and ShoreS is throwing me. I wouldnt think Stephen's gravestone is incorrect if the family had it done.

Can I get a clarification on why the difference in Shore and ShoreS?
