We often hear of and see regimental battle flags and such for various Union and Confederate units, but what of the Missouri State Militia cavalry? Are there any surviving regimental, battalion or company flags? These units most often operated as detachments hunting guerrillas, recruiters, and other incursions, rather than as regiments, so I could understand if regimental flags were uncommon.
