Yes, you! I know somebody out there from the Miller or Cole County area or some person with background from that vicinity knows the real identity of the mysterious "General Crabtree." Don't you think these 30 or so years is long enough for me to wait to get the answer?
I DON'T want to know where Crabtree's hidden grave is located or even his cave (or caves). I have no desire to disturb the dead. All I want to know is his correct name. First and last name would be just fine. There are good people on this forum who can track Crabtree, or whatever his name, from there and give him credit for his accomplishments. Excuse my sentimentality, but I simply want to give credit where credit is due.
