My great-grandfather 2nd Lt. John H. Myatt was also wounded at the Greenville Skirmish
His commanding officer with Timothy Reeve ,Yes he was Confederate soldier
After healing up he back into action with new commanding officer, Benjamin Elliott's 9th Cavalry
eventually getting captured (October, 9th 1864 ) in California, Missouri

He spent the rest of the war in two prisons, Gratiot Street prison in St. Louis Missouri, was sent from their to Johnson's Island in Sandusky, Ohio
Being wounded, spending time in prison he must have been tough old bird, he lived to be 91 years old
