I know that he is buried at Calvary cemetery in St. Louis Mo. I have visited his grave site many times. It is an obelisk of brownish granite that has a round metal bas relief image very well executed that looks like his Carte Visitee picture. On all sides of the obelisk are carved details of his exploits in battle. Calvary and nearby Bellefontaine cemetery have very many notable individuals buried there on both sides of the conflict. Hopefully you can visit it one day. it is a really nice monument !
