I am trying to find out more detail on a member of the 16th Kansas Cavalry, Co. F. I have found the one index card in the Compiled Service Records and his enlistment and muster out on a Kansas website, but I can't find any details as far as injuries or additional information like the Missouri cards. I am curious if the man I am looking for might have been part of Jennison's 30 men at Camden Point. His name is Samuel F. McAlexander. He enlisted January of 1864 and was discharged for disability on July 28, just two weeks after the Camden Point fight. Could anyone help me track this man down and see if there might be more military info on him?
