Mr. McGhee,

It's interesting that this list was dated Sept 18, 1861, after Wilson's Creek, so the men on this list were likely not with Foster's 2nd Infantry Regiment, 7th Division, Missouri State Guard. I do recognize quite a few of the family names as being in Foster's Regiment so I'm guessing that these may be those who stayed at home at this time (Fathers, Sons, Cousins, maybe too old, too young, or with farms and family that needed attention and with no one else to assist).
