Batty., recorded on a list of Paroled Prisoners in Camp Demopolis, Ala., June 5, 1863, his presence not stated, it records his captured at Jackson, Miss. May 14, 1863, subsequently paroled by Genl Sherman
Card #13 shows that he was admitted to the Way Hospital, Meridian, Miss. March 17, 1865, Dysentery, subsequently furloughed, no date
Note, it is a mystery that given his units parole within a day or so of capture at Jackson, he remained a prisoner
