My ancestor was one of the Bollinger County men, Capt. Casper Headrick Co. A. I am trying to track down information about Hunter's Regiment. I have Casper's records of when he was captured (3/63) but I would like to know when Hunter's Regt. was formed. I have copies of several muster cards with both Jason Hunter & Casper's names as officers, but none of them have dates. I've just recently discovered the Thompson link, so I am trying to find info there. Would you know the Regt. formation date?
