Spencer Watkins, 40, 1st Lieutenant, Company C, Burbridge’s Cavalry, aka, 4th Missouri Cavalry, elected 1st Lieutenant October 1, 1862, born in Massac County, Ills., died, no date, no other records

Note. He must have been dropped from the rolls for some unknown reason as he does not show up in the next Company C Muster Roll in the records for the period July & August 1863, dated August 31 where they were stationed near Little Rock, Ark.
