I was wondering what Guibor's battery was assigned to when it was in Corinth in May 1862. Danny Odom has been so kind as to provide information from a NARA microfilm roll which has orders from 13 May which shows Guibor's battery assigned to Parson's brigade of Sterling Price's division

but as far as I know Parson's brigade was not yet formed, wouldn't be formed until autumn of 1862 and when it was mustered in it would serve in the Trans-Mississippi theater rather than east of the Mississippi.

So is it possible that Guibor's battery was instead assigned to Meriwether Clark's artillery brigade?
