I am confused about Andrew Jackson Morton. My Grandmother was Gwendolyn Messer(Morton). Her Father, James Jefferson Morton and Mother, Lucinda Morton(Whitaker). If you go to the Garland-L-Wood site it has a list of all these people. I do believe that this Andrew whom was born in July3,1853-April 10,1917 is my Great Great uncle. Most of all my relatives resided in Joplin. Could these be the same people that you are talking about? I do have a family tree if you are interested.
