6th Div. MSG Ledgers

There are a couple of account ledgers for 6th Div. officers in the State Museum collection, both compiled in March 1862. Perhaps this is information available elsewhere? If interested, one set is from Parmalee at Camp Van Buren. The other set of ledger sheets was compiled by Thomas Monroe. The first set seems to list men beside others who served in the same unit/area. For example: Commissary John English, Lt. V. L. Acres, Lt. L. P. Crabtree. The ledger sheets seemed like a good resource for who served in what office in this division. Some of the largest accounts belonged to Robert McCulloch, Colonel, First Cavalry; A. T. Sims, Lt., Second Infantry; and Capt. George Beardslee, Capt. and Quartermaster, First Regt. Infantry.
