George, I think this is two different guys. The first is from Cass County as detailed in my prior posts. The Second that was in Shank"s Regt appears to me to be Granville H Wilson from Randolph County. He has an extensive record in Fold3 that has his prison record and interrogation reports. He also has an entry in the Union Citizens file. Appears he got sick went home and got picked up while in Randolph County and sent to Gratiot.
