John, Thanks for all the effort you are putting into this!! I will try to put it all together in a binder for Braxton. I looked at Braxton's birthdate again. He was born in May 1849, so that would have made him fourteen at the time of the Lawrence raid. Still too young, you think??
I know and wholeheartedly agree there is no kinship to Bat Masterson. I dont know if he made that up or somehow liberties were taken by the reporter of the write-up.
