His name is John Matlock. Lived in Johnson County, Missouri most of his life. Don't know who his neighbors were. Maybe some influence there? I have seen his two military "cards" on Fold3.com. Indep., PG, PR and Wilson's Creek was found on a genealogy site. Would be grateful for additional help with him.
