Thanks for posting this. In all my years of research into Parsons' MO units, I have never run across any reports, letters, diary entries, etc. relating the loss of any colors from the 7th or 10th Missouri at Helena. As you know these regiments received new "Missouri Pattern" flags at Little Rock in April 1863. Quite a few of the Missourians and Arkansians in Price's Division were not all that enthused with the new flag design. It doesn't mean that colors weren't lost by these units at Helena, but the statement by the Federal Missourian is a bit vague. Is this report in the ORs?
