Well due to the account thecolors were lost during either the capture as mentioned or the retaking of Bttry C, but I don't think the retaking was as much of a fight as the Feds try to make it. The Confederates were pulling back anyway, so that whole statement about the prisoners, officers and colors is interesting. I think any lost colors would have been mostly the 10th since so many were captured but could hace included both.
