It appears James Huskins was a 3rd Sergeant at the time of the Quantrill raids, July 1862

He Re-enlisted on 2/23/1864
He was Mustered Out on 2/15/1866 at Austin, TX

* 2nd Sergt 9/1/1862
* 1st Sergt 9/1/1863
* 2nd Lieut 1/4/1865
