The subject line soldier was named as a Colorbearer
of the 1st Mo. Inf. Regt. in Capt. Joseph Boyce's Memoir
as a "Sgt., Colorbearer" on Sept. 1, 1861. (pg. 35)
However, I've found NO record of this man in any of the
Missouri Compiled Service Records (M-322).
Does anyone have further info on this soldier?
