Richard H. Ingram, Company F, 2nd Regiment Missouri Infantry,* enlisted March 1, 1862 at Cove Creek, Ark. by Robert Rives for 12 months, discharged by reason of disability April 1863, he was engaged as follows: at Elkhorn, Farmington, Iuka, Corinth, Hatchie Bridge, was discharged from the service March 1863, but refused to leave the Regiment until the Spring & Summer campaigns were ended. He participated in battles of Grand Gulf, Port Gibson, Baker’s Creek, Big Black & the siege of Vicksburg with his discharge in his pocket. Was Private in 2nd Regiment, 3rd Division, Missouri State Guard. Was engaged at the battles of Oak Hill, Drywood & Lexington. Description on discharge, 22 year old Farmer, born in Charlotte County, Virgina, 6’ 00” light complexion, grey eyes, light hair
