Re: 62nd Enrolled Missouri Malitia of Macon, Misso

I just thought I would jump for a quick comment. Julius Bourk was my great-great-great-grandfather. I was recently in Macon doing research on him and another E.M.M. Captain in Macon my other great-great-great grandfather Nicholas Warner. I obtained both of their service records which have some information about Company K. Julius Bourk's obituary tells an interesting story about hanging the stars and stripes up at his house and "a force he could not resist" (a mob perhaps) ripped it down.

Also, re: Bruce Nichols, I am reading your first book in the guerrilla series and it is great. Thank you so much for writing all four volumes!

Bruce, I have another question for you about Macon, MO in the Civil War. Is it possible to email you directly? My email address is jessica629@hotmail.com

Thanks. Jessica
