W.C. Todd

A little more info on W.C. Todd--We know he lost his life in the sinking of the passenger ship Columbia off the coast of Eureka, California, on July 20, 1907. Also losing her life was his daughter, Anna S. Todd. A son, Rev. J.C. Todd of New York City survived them.

At the time of his death he appears to have been living in Marshall, Missouri, and was a member of the John S. Marmaduke Camp of the UCV there.

I have these few tidbits of information, but need to try to see if there is a Tom W. Todd connection, and flesh out W.C.'s own wartime experience. Thanks.
