In 1862 the stepfather of Harvey Hulen, who we talked about earlier, was Simon Rouse. Anything for that household in 1860? Near Hallsville in Boone County.

And in 1860 is there any sign of Harvey Hulen's father, William Hulen, born ca 1822. It's possible William Hulen and wife Martha divorced, but I think it more likely William died before ca 1851-1855, after which Martha married Simon Rouse.
