I have to correct my earlier statement. Joshua "Cap" Lampton was actually William Lampton Jr's cousin. I got off one generation as William SR had a brother Joshua that was the father of Cap Joshua Lampton. Joshua Lampton was a teacher and was living with Enoch Hulen and Elizabeth Asbury Hulen in Rocky Fork Boone County in 1860 along with John Lampton.
