Porter's Men Executed

In mid-October 1862 over 1000 Confederates were converging in Callaway County in northeast Missouri to attempt a mass crossing of the Missouri River. According to Joseph Mudd, at that time the 10th Missouri State Militia Cavalry captured and executed three of them -- Dick Underwood, Al Purvis, and ---- Kelso.

Don't need detail on them--but I am hoping to identify their unit. And maybe Kelso's full name.
