Re: Lewis W Jones

Lewis W Jones is found in 1860 census here:
Name: Lewis W Jones
Age: 21
Birth Year: abt 1839
Gender: Male
Birth Place: Missouri
Home in 1860: Perche, Boone, Missouri
Post Office: Rocheport
Dwelling Number: 817
Family Number: 890
Household Members:
Name Age
Lewis Jones 58
Lewis W Jones 21
James R Jones 19
George N Jones 16
Richard M Jones 14

Note we have 3 of the other Jones names listed thus I may have to adjust my earlier assertion on George Dudley Jones if we accept brothers may have stuck together.

Captured Capt Dodson EMM Nov 17 '62 Camden Co, shows up Jeff City on 24th. To Gratiot then Alton sent east ends up in Small Pox Hospital Petersburg VA March 20 1863. This Lewis is often confused with Louis W Jones of Burbridge's wounded at Corinth. Not the same guy.

There is a tantalizing hint that a Lewis Wesley Jones was married to a Luvica Rowland but have not teased that out as yet with primary documentation. Hint comes from a Social Security Application for a daughter with DOB of 1862.

1850 Census has him with family again
