Findagrave has a false entry for him. Tellingly, there is no photo to go with it. Says he's buried in Locust Grove Cemetery in Boone County, Missouri. False entry has to do with the date of death. He did not die in 1874 as the entry says--he led a full public life for another 20 years after that date. So is he actually buried there? No idea until somebody goes by the cemetery and sees if there's a grave for him. That cemetery is around where he spent his life, so somebody may have just been guessing he was buried there.....
