At one time, this board had an arrangement with a company called "Roll Call Research." Jim Martin [webmaster] can update you. I used them once and was satisfied. I've used others with varying degrees of satisfaction.

Also, NARA's web site used to have a list of locally available researchers on their website. Just a list; no endorsements.

Finally, NARA has an ongoing project on their website to digitize the Confederate Records [RG 109] and it is absolutely a treasure trove for off site researchers [like me]. I believe they have completed well over 7000 records by now. You are sure to be happily impressed.
