I've never seen a proper biography, perhaps because he moved from MO to MT about 1865. I do know he was an anti-emancipation member of the State Convention, was arrested by General Ben Loan Nov 1, 1862 for anti-emancipation remarks (and released at Gov. Gamble's orders), attended the 1864 Democratic Convention and lost to Joseph McClurg in district 5 in the 1864 congressional election. Find a Grave says he was born in Maury Co, TN 1816 and died in Blackfoot, Idaho 1896.
