Kirby; Crossing 1860 census data to Howard county township maps of era leads me to this entry which is best guess at this stage for Turner farm.

Ephraim was a slave owner on 1860 slave schedule. His find a grave listing has him buried in Shaw cemetery just off 240 in Davisdale conservation area so I think this is the one to focus on.

We are lucky given his age he does have a land grant that matches the cemetery neighborhood. It is here and plots nicely with what we know of the incident.
