Hmm. Good links. Well, well, there's our James S. White in the White Cemetery, brought clear up from New Orleans. Bet that involved a dicy process in 1859. Salt? A pickle barrel?

And regarding the Turner Cemetery, have you reached out to that William Neil Block of Huntsville, Mo, who left the online memorial for Harvey Brown, James Bissett, Sandy Mcane (Mr. Block seems to have adopted our reasoning on the name), John Wilson and Thomas Fulton? Looks like he's an SCV member of the Col. Elijah Gates Camp #570, Auxvasse, MO, and that they may have already done a lot of the legwork on this.
