What an interesting guy. According to the O.R. (apparently his only appearance in the O.R.s) he had a rank of major in the Union Army and was Callaway County provost marshal in March 1862. He shows up later as a second lieutenant and then captain in EMM and PEMM companies starting in December 1862. I'm trying to figure out what unit he was in as a major in early 1862. Possibly one of the USRC units? Help?
